Where it all started
Leslie and Emil
A single female-wolf gave birth to a litter of five cubs, from which only two survived. She was exhausted from her rough past and now taking care of the litter was too overwhelming.
One day, she left her two cubs, barely seven days old,
under a bush which was safe enough from predators.
Then she ran off without looking back.
The two little cubs spent hours neglected and crying out for their mother.
After a few hours, a young male wolf walks by and hears the desperate crying. He finds the brothers and is speechless. When he doesn't spot the mother around, he decides to take the cubs with him to his little family.
At home waits his spouse and three other little cubs.
The couple happily takes the brothers to their own litter to give them a new life. The two brothers gets the names Leslie and Emil.
The new family
Two months pass great in the new family. The brothers get along with their new brothers and sister well. Four months in, their new siblings start to bully them and tries to separate them from their family.
The father becomes abusive towards the kids and their mother.
Leslie, as the smart and protective big brother, decides that
they don't deserve any more trauma. The relations between their new siblings doesn't get any better, though they all live
through the same family trauma.
One night, Leslie and Emil flee from their home what they thought were their safe place. They had no idea what their
next chapter would look like.
A start from zero
The next upcoming days are unfortunate. The four month old brothers live their days in constant survival mode, with no adult teaching how to live life. Zero hunting skills. Zero fighting skills. No idea what place to call a home. They are eating only small prey which barely fills their small stomachs. Nights are spent under a log which gives enough shelter from rain and danger.
Weeks go by and eventually life teaches the brothers in small steps how to deal with it. They slowly begin to find joy again and understand what is the most important thing - having each other.
New friends- new beginnings
One day a bad day turned into the best day of the brothers' lives. Leslie and Emil were wandering in their surroundings on a regular day, when they came across something unusual. Emil fell to a trap set by humans. It was a deep hole that was covered with branches.
Leslie desperately tried to get Emil up but he didn't manage.
A friendly voice interrupted the process.
''Can we help you?'', it said.
Behind Leslie stood a group of young wolves around their age.
They offered help with a long branch they had found. Now they were five trying to pull one up from the deep hole. They needed to hurry up, because the hunters were on their way to catch their prey.
The team had good luck, because they got Emil up from the hole right on time. The helpful youngsters introduced themselves;
Sadie, Jerico, Kevin and Thane.
Their new friends led the brothers to their pack,
which became their new home.
They became a close friend group of six and hung out on daily basis.
Leslie and Sadie found a deeper connection and became a couple after the age of one year.
As they grew up and became older, they started to dream about living in their own paradise and start their own pack. One day, they decided it was the right moment to ''fly from the nest'' and start a new life.
That day was the first day of their long journey.
